- Jan-Ake Westin is an avid voice teacher, barbershop music coach, and a retired Music Judge in the Barbershop Harmony Society. Jan-Ake has over 30 years of barbershop chorus leadership under his belt. Born and raised in Sweden, he received his music education in elementary and high school, and continued a life-long education in the barbershop style when he moved to Canada in 1980. Jan-Ake also directs Sugartones Harmony, Inc. chorus in Alliston and Barrie Soundwaves Sweet Adelines chorus.
