I grew up around Barbershop, as my dad was actively involved, not only with the local chapter, but as a member of the District executive. We travelled around to different places for the International Conventions. I got involved when I was 10 years old with the Kent Kordsmen of Chatham Ontario.
As I had been away from Barbershop singing for quite sometime, when I moved to Barrie with my family in 2011 I found something was missing in my life. When I returned to Barrie in 2014, I found the Barrie County Chordsmen on a Google search and joined the chorus in 2015. In 2017 I became the VP of Membership and have enjoyed my time as a member of the Board.
